About Us

Cave Springs Public Works provides residents and businesses with basic city services. They are comprised of the Water, Sewer and Street Departments. As a small town, these three departments work together to provide maintenance, repair and inspection services on each of these systems.

The Clerk processes applications, establishes accounts, manages work orders, prepares billing reports, processes receipts, maintains financial books for each applicable department and performs or oversees the other clerical duties in support of the Water, Sewer and Street departments.

Cave Springs Public Works is responsible for seeing that basic services are safe and available when needed. They submit test samples to the health department, in accordance with guidelines and regulations, to ensure that safe water standards are met. Waste water testing is also done to meet compliance standards. Street maintenance are prioritized and performed, limbs removed, common areas mowed and park upkeep performed by public works; and on those unfortunate occasions when a service is interrupted, Public Works responds to the outage to restore service as quickly as possible.
