Please Join Us for the Cave Springs Legacy Project Workshop

From March 17 - March 19, the City of Cave Springs and Illinois River Watershed Partnership (IRWP) will work with the Congress for the New Urbanism (CNU) and national urban design experts for the “Cave Springs Main Street Corridor and IRWP Sanctuary Revitalization” Legacy Project.

The goal for the Cave Springs Legacy Project is to reimagine the downtown core by expanding upon previous work done by ULI’s Northwest Arkansas chapter to create smarter land use, housing and transportation strategies that align with the IRWP’s mission and the vision for the city and its residents.

The public is invited to participate in multiple aspects of this three day charrette including:

  • Community Meeting at the Cave Springs Community Building on Tuesday, March 17th at 5:30 - 7:30pm

  • Plan Pin-Up at the Cave Springs Community Building on Wednesday, March 18 at 12 - 1:30pm

  • Plan Presentation at the Cave Springs Community Building on Thursday, March 19 at 5:30 - 7:00pm

This workshop is part of the ramp-up for CNU’s 2026 annual Congress, to be held in cities of the Northwest Arkansas region from May 12 - 16, 2026.
